This stuff has made me laugh from the beginning. Mach 10 for 2 hours is traveling about 24,700km. The circumference of earth is about 40,000km. So he traveled from one planet to another by crossing a distance of about half the circumference of our small planet. To put that into perspective the moon is 384,000km from earth, so planet Humbad is almost touching Earth in this novel.
2 hrs of insane Mach 10 speed flight, Zeras skidded to a stop and his jaws dropped to the ground when he saw the beautiful green planet. It was just as he last remembered it, except the last time he left, there weren't five humongous spaceships surrounding it from all directions.
