good point, but would you really want to adopt a random kid just because he is getting abused when you can put him into an orphanage which you know will be a satisfactory environment. the cop might not have the energy and motivation to care for the kid 24/7

the way they see it is 99% of the soldiers will certainly die even if they try to escape, only the elite have a chance to survive, and they will still probably wont make it. if there are 3 million in the city and 300,000 are soldiers. that means that only 3,000 have a chance to escape and around 3 million people will die at the hands of the orcs or captured and raped and used as breeding animals. killing 3,000 people who might not necessarily survive anyway to make sure that 3 million people die peacefully and that the enemy dies with them is in my opinion the lesser evil by what we know so far. i would prefer to die with my whole family and town than have them raped and eaten for a chance for me to survive.

the three day rule just seems unneeded. why shouldn't you be able to delete your character right after making it. you will still have to wait for the creation cool down
