The main reason some dont like the name is its does not fit the family. It is true many characters in rwby have names from all over but their names still fit their family. Example (Summer, and Ruby), (Weiss,Winter,Whitley) there is a theme when it comes to siblings and parents. So I can understand why some dilike the name.

A lot for example you dont have to make the ball touch the ground to score in American football, just crooss the goalline. The players also specialize in offense, defense . Also play calling you get 4 plays to move the ball 10 yards or it become the teams ball. But the most noticeable is the passing in American football you can pass forward. These are just the most basic deffernces
Of course, I wasn't lazy my entire life, during my high school days, I was playing football a lot and pretty much any sport in PE lessons. I didn't care which sport we were playing because even though I have played that said sport for the first time, after a few minutes I was already on a level comparable to the students who were focusing numerous years on that sport. I was a fast learner.

It is really confusing to tell who is talking during character interaction. Making it hard to get into the story having multiple characters talking at once with indicating who is talking takes away from the story.
