The next vault was number 713 and had much stricter security measures while containing a single small sack alone. Harry was curious about what was in the sack but Nick was debating weather he should just go out of his way to smash it now and save him the trouble of dealing with Quirelmort. While his pokemon was trying to counter a sunny day that never came Vulcan was halfway done with charging the super effective attack that Watson clearly wanted to prevent. "Dodge!" he called but Vulcan was already lining up the shot. "FWOOOM!" the beam of grass type energy tore through the air and from the widening of Watsons eyes probably gave away that Vulcan was massively over leveled for this challenge. "LAAAAAA!" the fish screamed as the beam struck it dead center and washed over it. -

"Why?" I asked without any change in expression. "Suspicion of criminal activity." she said smugly. I stood up at that and held out my hands calmly "If you say so one seven seven three six." I said calmly. She and the others stiffened when they heard me but I was entirely calm. I was aware of the reason for this little charade but refused to give them any pleasure from it. The Joy and jenny clans were both tight knit groups so it was easy to understand that this was retaliation for my previous actions involving my leaving of Iron town.-

Without these stripes their skin itself would tear whenever they went all out from the unrestrained power of their muscles. The reason this particular Machoke sized me up was that it found my strength and physique impressive and wanted to compete. The company man could only watch on with an exasperated look as both I and the pokemon flexed to show off to the other. I was honestly far too happy to compete with the thing in hindsight but pride is a funny thing like that. I won out in the competition though as my muscles were far more developed than it's were and thus looked more impressive.-

This made perfect sense to me since I always thought that being able to cover the entire region on foot within maybe two days was ridiculous for a whole region. Interestingly the pokenav also showed where I was on this map and much to my surprise I am actually not that far from Littleroot village. According to the device twelve miles away from it at the base of mt. grey in fact. The forest around us was also known as needle forest in fact and was labeled as a tier 1.5 danger area.-

The options were Hoenn map , condition , internet , match call , camera , ribbons and rescue call. Clicking on the first option I was presented with a familiar but significantly different map then the one I remember. In emerald the map of Hoenn was very small and only showed "important" places alongside the routes. This map was dotted with towns , villages , forests , routes , caves and mountains. Yes mountains as in more than one of the things unlike in the game where it was basically just mt. chimney. This was made it abundantly clear that the landmass I was currently standing on was WAY bigger than in the game.-

I repeated the process until I had three very rough plates of iron each with different sizes. I tossed them into the fire together and heated them up to working temperature before carefully setting them on top of each other on my anvil iron. I then began to strike them hard in order to try and forge weld them together. Forge welding was simply using heat and pressure to force two or more pieces of metal to fuse into a single one. Ideally I would have a furnace of some sort and an actual anvil and hammer for this but I will work with what I have available.-

Obviously that wasn't actually true since it had clearly been here for a very long time but it certainly didn't look like it as it almost seemed to have a sort of vitality to it. My eyes lit up however when I looked at it's base and saw four large dark blue crystals that looked like they had bubbles in them. That's right water stones and after using appraise on them I was left speechless as they were all grade 5. Using appraise on the giant tooth I learned why as well as how this cavern formed to begin with.-

I decided to spare myself the headache and just rolled with it "Something powerful huh? What about grace?" I asked in rough common but my Larvitar shook her head in disagreement. "Hmmm , What about Gaia?" I asked and she seemed to think about it before nodding with a smile and cried out "Larvitar!" happily. I couldn't help but smile myself as it seemed her joy was contagious. "Alright Gaia , I'll try to keep you out of your ball when I can but might need to store you in it later alright?" I said in slightly better common not not by much.-

Harry watched in amazement and awe as Nick didn't even need to stand in order to bring his cousin to heel despite the size difference between them. Dudley looked like a goldfish as he opened and closed his mouth trying to find and answer but eventually gave up and simply left angrily. Harry looked like he wanted to cry tears of joy over how Nick defended him and swore to himself he'd never betray his trust even if it killed him.-

Nick grabbed the blank ring as well as Sanar and left the forge causing the door to immediately fade into nothing. He placed Sanar on his ring finger were it shrank to fit him perfectly which was merely an inherent ability all rings forged in this style had and placed the blank in his hiding place before flopping on the bed and passing out. It was another night of elf crafts master filled dreams only this time Nick was surprised to see the tall elf inspecting Sanar carefully. "Hmm , it is not on the same level as any of my own works but that is to be expected." the elf said arrogantly to which Nick wanted to roll his eyes.-
