their is a limit to how far he can swap. and at the speed tut could move. legit could of been next to the sun in seconds. Soooo author just extending a fight tut should of won within seconds for no reason.
Swiftly flying after him, I appeared behind him, punching him once more as he threatened to leave the city of Cairo, so I made sure that didn't happen. For the next several seconds, which felt like hours, I treated Apocalypse like a pinball, constantly hitting him back and forth through the sky, turning his face into a bloody mess, and although it healed, I was injuring him quicker than he could regenerate.

not completely. upside of doomsday is adaptive learning. more he is exposed to something the more resistant he gets. that's just standard doomsday. go for one of the extreme versions and we'll...... that's a whole new bucket of worms.
He wants to evolve into a normal Superman, evolve into a Silver Super, and ultimately become an all-knowing and all-powerful supreme being.
