If this is Tet from NGNL, he is omniscient and omnipotent technically(kinda?), he just doesn't like using his powers to see the future and enforce causality to win. He is pretty bored of being practically all powerful, so he just wings it and where it goes most of the time.

One of the games Thomas had gotten into most recently was a Mobile/PC game called Genshin Impact. Growing up on a farm in the most rural part of the United States had ingrained in him some admittedly bigoted views towards the Chinese, but his time in college had changed that. Unless the villains(antagonists) suffer major powercreep, The tension in this story is done. There is no need for any supporting cast, Gary Stu "cool and calculating" gamer loser over here can solve everything by himself and get whatever he wants anytime! Lol what a good progression and development, your other stories at least did not have some garbage gamer-gacha abomination giving everything on a silver platter and trivializing the entire setting.

Read Irl Hindu mythology, some Hindu characters are even more overpowered than in fiction. Could put some of them in dragonball and they would kick ass even in super. Dxd hindu gods are nerfed and Shiva could still bitchslap every other god solo, other than Big G. Tldr, Celtic pantheon is weak sauce.
