At least Xian is giving reactions and emotions. But it still amazes how flatly Elle is responding, there's definitely gotta be some nerve displacement lest this lack of response is humanly impossible or she either built her mind this way which I don't think is a case(as people only do it in case of extreme trauma).

okay so, nuan really did that miscarriage act just to destroy xiu. till now I was really trying my best to justify her actions I thought if I was in her place I would also become crazy because the person she loved dearly never really loved her back recently I was reading a novel in which the fl had little similar situation but I was wrong atleast in that novel fl except her mistake and try to change herself for the best but this nuan....after reading this chapter the little pity I had for her just left now the only emotion I have for her is disgust.

dear author that's what I love about your novel you just don't focus on main lead but you also bring character development to other characters also each one of them is fighting there own battle even the antagonist in your novel has a interesting story behind them.
