Really thought out and deep mythology coupled with the tower-climbing motive. What is there not to like? The main character has a clear motivation for climbing the tower and I can only hope that he succeeds in the end. Waiting for more chapters!

The premise of the story is really interesting and fresh. Civilization/society building is a topic that i particularly enjoy so I definitely will be checking the progress of this novel. The story seems interesting and the different povs are somewhat refreshing. Good thing that the moments when the pov changes are marked clearly, as otherwise it could be very confusing. Whish there were more chapters to read through!

This is entirely my fault! Names ending with the letter "a" in my native language are mainly female names, This and the first-person perspective made me believe that Mika was a she.

A fast-paced story that thrusts the reader right into the middle of the action. Because of that, we can fill as disoriented as the main heroine is at the beginning when she's whisked away to the game world. It definitely helps to relate to her more which is further reinforced by a first-person perspective. The chapters are concise and nicely written, and the language used clear and simple so there are no problems with understanding the story. Overall, a very good read!
