I don’t see how that coreolates to this completely they made him go through hoops to become a clan then ship him off in a deal that reflects to all clans. If they do it to him they would be alienating all clans. The Hyugas made the decision to sacrifice the branch brother to save the head but it was never stated that the village forced them to just that the Cloud demanded that in reparations to the envoy dying. It’s not fair to use that as an excuse when they never fleshed out the reasons why. Aka who made the final decision to go with the sacrifice play or push back the clouds demands just that it happened.

I don’t understand why you made him so damn emotional. He was a grown ass man before this, first we had to go through other peoples perspectives now it’s just nothing but angst left and right. I wouldn’t say you have ruined the story yet but god damn man hurry the fuck up this is hard to read.

For me I like this more than just reading him steam roll through his progress. It’s detached enough that it doesn’t just feel like lore dumping.
