Your instincts are good grandma
Calliope's bright smile reminded Old Madam Xu of Calix's childhood self, specifically of the ones when he appeared so angelic on the outside yet actually thinking of wreaking havoc.

This kind of question always reminds me of the reason for super saiyans hair color be blonde 😅
"Yes, King. Your hair will also turn silver, but you can easily learn some illusion runes later on."

I believe the actual version is better. One way for the previous version to work to make Calix memory worse, as such he marries for the reason he tells grandma and an instinct of sorts without connecting this to the night before the accident. The shock could unlock the memory of both of them... But, as it is, it's better, makes him smarter. It also avoids adopting her. Now they are just bringing her home, though I still don't know how that would work legally 😅

So it's easy to revert, no?! Just change the order of the speakers again
After a brief observation, he discerned a peculiar pattern: the zombies were congregating in a single location. Swiftly, he pursued them, leaping from rooftop to rooftop. Drawing nearer to the epicenter, he discovered the source - a series of small speakers emitting random noise, luring the undead. As he approached, it became clear: each speaker ceased its noise only to pass the baton to the next, maintaining the zombies' relentless march. The cacophony persisted until he reached a particular building, where the speakers blared incessantly, anchoring the horde in place.

Really? Because it was 3 chapters this time, it got hard to ignore Iike always... 😏 Why do it anyway? It would be a nice tool to mention something that happened dozens of chapters before, but remind the end of the last one?! I don't get the need for such...
They couldn't shake their doubts, especially given Vulture's evident reverence for Kisha, a reverence previously reserved for Duke alone. It seemed as though Vulture regarded her with a godlike reverence, treating her words as if they were sacred creed.

Author, are you shamelessly increasing the word count of chapters on purpose?

Stay calm!
'Leslie... stay calm. Stay calm!'

The baby is here!!!
Flinching, Leslie's entire body froze. She stiffly moved her head to where the voice came, her heartbeat rapidly accelerating.

They are huggers , which can be slightly dangerous
"Don't make the rookie mistake of neglecting the secondary characters and focusing only on killing the protagonist. The target's father is the White Bear, a legend in the South, and if you're not careful you'll be headless before you can say 'Lamia' twice."

I suddenly have a strong sense of dejavu.
"Wait..." he said, trying to stay conscious to say one last thing to this girl. "The hut... I want to live with you there again, so I promise I'll save you, my child..."
Fantasy · NandoFalske
So much for not drawing attention...
The lookouts stationed nearby, originally tasked with monitoring the incoming trucks, were completely absorbed by the scene unfolding before them. The ferocity of Kisha and her group's battle had completely captured their attention.

I would use a favor to ask the villain to look for her father using such unconventional search input, with no questions asked. It's better than waiting for the plot.
It was too bad that Loraine didn't know what happened in detail because the novel only glossed over it. Thus, she only knew that Rand Antares appeared three years later.

Where? I didn't find it here.
Trigger warning: Rape, Violence.

WARNING! The next chapter is harsh. There is a summary in its comments to help those who want to skip it.
War was inevitable, and it was only going to get worse.

That's a good question. If it wasn't for Altera's plot armor, I would imagine the call for help was a trap.
"Heh… did you think they'd still be able to save you at this point?" Gingo asked, crossing his arms and looking down at the lord of the territory.

Thank you! Don't forget Brewing Wars part 2. It was harsher than this one.

Summary at the comments
Its an abbreviation for Too Long, Didn't Read. It can be used to indicate a short summary. You could put it in the comments of the chapter, focusing on the main points of it.
In very, very, stark contrast with the world outside, Altera was doused in a happy atmosphere.

oh, nevermind...
Sigh, hopefully, this little Calliope wouldn't inherit her father's mischievousness much.
