After his birthday Nick waited a few days before heading up into space to retrieve his accumulated harvest. It came as little surprise to him that each of the marbles were now the size of a mansion on average. Unfortunately most of that size came from the material attached to the star metal rather than the metal itself. After placing each of the massive collections into the realm Nick fed anything that wasn't valuable to him to the realm to fuel it's growth. This was what consisted of the majority of the collected stuff and in the end left him with roughly enough star metal to create a life sized horse statue if he wanted to.-

The merman shook his head "First rope always goes to the weaver , tradition you see." the merman explained patiently and Nick understood. It was a sort of right of passage for merfolk that the first sea rope someone weaves belongs to them. Nick thought it rather funny as Olivander had basically done the same thing with the first wand he had made. 'If I ever have an apprentice in the future I'll do the same since it's a good tradition.' he thought with a smile.-

Nick wasn't delusional enough to think the man wouldn't prepare for the case of Helena telling him where and what the diadem was.-

Im here after reading "tango with death", which in my humble opinion is a masterpiece btw, and im anything but disappointed. I hope you can do yourself one better with this one, specially with how long this is turning out to be.
All of this said I am not just venting my issues here at everyone , I truly do appreciate that others read my stories and enjoy them and I even enjoy when people ask reasonable questions like "Does his avian dominion apply to Thestrals or veela's?" things like that. It makes me happy to see people engaging with the story and trying to figure out what I am setting up for the future and what is actually just fluff. For everyone who isn't part of the groups this is targeted at I apologize that you were subjected to this post and ask for your understanding.

i like the direction the plot is going so far but i would like to point out that right now this doesnt feel like a story. it feels more like a script for a story, it lacks depth and most of all emotion and relatability. it really hope you can work on that. keep up the good work!
Jorah and I trained our haki according to the Mormont method which makes our armament stronger than most people. I then helped train Jorah with observation according to what I could gleam from some of Mihawk's memories. As of now both of us are one of the strongest warriors in the north on paper but you never know really. Jorah is twenty and is currently helping dad run the keep. I experimented with some whiskey and we started selling them in small quantities aroumd the North. The coin is helping us stay afloat but we are getting wealthier little by little.

After all those long 644 words of thoughts, I departed toward my destination. While most were used to seeing the sheer amount of food that Nick put away per meal it still made some students uncomfortable. Nick couldn't help it though as between his growing body and the workout that forging gave him his caloric intake had skyrocketed to nearly beastly levels. This meal for example consisted of two entire roast chickens , a large bowl of greens , two loaves of bread and leg meat of an acromantula which tasted like high quality king crab meat. That didn't even mention desert which was also quite calorie intensive.-
