I'm pretty sure Rias talked to them. She knows precisely what their traumas are, and instead of being the overbearing master who ordered them to get over it simply, she was their friend before their master. She wanted them to overcome their traumas on their own. She was always there for them when they needed her, and Rias figured that if they ever wanted to talk, they would come to her on their own. Rias is actually a better devil than 99 percent of the devils in the Underworld. She could have been way worse, and as the heiress of one of the three 72 pillars, no one would have batted an eye if she treated her Peerage like actual pieces instead of family and friends. I hate when people portray Rias as evil and a brat, and let's be honest here: she's a Devil! Not some Angel with a heart of gold. Devil's are shellfish by nature

That would put it under the Iron throne upon my Child's ascension and that is much more stable than having it under a Prince of Dorne. So long as Dorne has dragons they could hold Lys, but my little pet project is not stopping at Lys so I need to think long-term. Everything that I want to do and that I plan to happen will not work if I am stacking Dorne up to be more powerful than the entirety of the other Kingdoms. With force, it could work, but that would involve a civil war and House Martell usurping House Targaryen and becoming Kings of Westeros.
