I pushed myself up off the floor I laid on, my odd bipedal form reaching to the height of 8 feet even with the slight hunch my form carries. My feet... or should I say paws, held massive claws the size of adult human fingers the bottoms squishy paw pads making walking on any surface comfortable. My hands were thankfully more human like, with apposable thumbs and retractable claws. Thick black fur covered my whole body, massive teeth within my mouth. I was a horror story.

yea but Warwick wasn't a Youkai, he was human.
the limited ability to take a human form. sounds like fun, yea? what it didn't tell me was that I would start out homeless with little to no actual skill in shape-shifting, leaving me with no way to actually aquire food or shelter in whatever cruel human filled world I was currently in.

this is mostly due to me wanting this to have a romance tied into it. I had assumed that people might find it odd if the protagonist was... less then human. on top of that I was wanting him to be able to go to the school to give the story some slice of life filler. I'm up for changing such things if people were up for it.

if I'm not mistaken their siblings are hundreds of years old and fought it the devil Civil War, I'd say being this strong is pretty reasonable for how young they are.

I plan on continuing it. was taking a break during holidays and ended up catching covid so I'm still recovering
