I'm pretty sure Martial cultivation is different from just using a body refining technique, right? Like, it straight up is an entirely different path. Then, the body refining technique Xiao Hong is cultivating, was it created by a martial cultivator, or do cultivation systems fuse when you get to such a high level?Also, here's to hoping Xiao Hong learns close quarters combat since even if maybe martial cultivators on her same level will have more advantages in close combat, she'll still be better than pretty much anyone else, and that's only if martial cultivators would be better than her on the same level, and the majority wont anyway because their technique wont be as good as a literal supreme grade technique.

I was thinking she would do that too, it's a classic situation - You're inside a barrier that completely confiscated you, so the enemy continues attacking to break it, but you have actually already escaped and are flanking them. Honestly a lot of these points are surely things that should have been addressed at the very start, no? How is she only just learning these extremely basic things, such as adjusting the power of your techniques, after days of fighting?

Hmmm, I think, from what I've learned so far, for 1st year academy students most of them are between 2-3 in their stats, and the top students would probably be at 3 in at least most of their stats, maybe even up to 3.5 for their specialties. So, I would actually say our boy now has decent stats, around the middle end of 1st year students, though magic power being at 3 is probably not common, I'd assume mostly only mages would have it that high at this point
