The MC mainly farms but there are a few action scenes eg when drafted into the sect patrol. However, as the title suggests, the MC is very low-key and cautious about saving his life so his IQ doesn't appear offline. The story is decently paced with MC progressing and sect-wide events foreshadowing future developments (Ch 137)

It's a western fantasy setting in the Middle Ages with dwarves and barbarians etc. The MC dual-jobs as priest and mage but lives in the main city ruled by the Mage Council to develop as a mage. The Mage Council organises mages somewhat like an advanced institute of learning where research is an important KPI. The story is mainly about the protagonist developing magic skills/devices to substitute modern medical infrastructure such as X-ray and ECG and re-invigorating many schools of magic ie necromancy, conjugation, evocation etc in the process with the new paradigms (non-visible light) introduced in his research papers. The protagonist is a surgeon, so his character is lawful-good eg freely teaching the modern medical knowledge and technology he uses to heal. There's also some political aspects like healing the allied dwarves with miner's lungs or the enemy lord's son to subvert antagonist. The medical terminology is sufficiently simple for laymen till about Ch 500 when it becomes more in-depth for surgical scenes but this part isn't a lot and can be skipped. The medical parts are quite diverse, from basic surgery to public health and sanitation so it doesn't feel repetitive
