Mma fighter could definetly beat viking in hand to hand combat. Because of lack of nutrients and horrible living conditions they lived in They were rather lean and way shorter. Not to mention we are talking about thousands of years of technique difference. Footwork etc mma fighters train everyday for that specific thing. Hand to hand combat. If you were to say with swords or something like that then of course viking would win theres no denying that. But some people think vikings were 6 ft giants with insane strenght. They were taller than anglo saxons for sure tho but they werent giants

And they didnt eat meat everyday rich people did yeah for sure but not average person they mostly ate grain and fruits and meat once in a while since it was quite expensive for them. And if you use soldiees as example its even more wrong because cost to feed thousands of men meat everyday or even once every 3 days would be insanely high.
