I’m not disagreeing with your point, since basic skills shouldn’t be OP, but wouldn’t it be funny for a golem made of clay to get stabbed and have a “Bleeding” status? 😂 That’s why it’s weird that poison works on clay golems. They’re inanimate (non-living), so why would a biological problem (poison, bleeding) cause them trouble? Anyway just food for thought.

It’s partially cause its a translated novel. The character 他 means him, but it can also be used more generally, and thus can be used for females… The other character 她 (pronounced the same) is specifically for females. The original author might not have been super specific on which one they used while typing pinyin -> character, and translations might not pick up on the discrepancy 😅 As a result, this is a common occurrence in translated novels that aren’t well proofread.

To be honest I feel a little bad for him. I can sympathise to some extent. Battling with your life on the line is terrifying but at the same time extremely thrilling, and the rewards provided give such immediate gratification that it becomes hard to resist the lure of combat. After spending time in those dangerous places, living on the edge constantly, our relatively peaceful environment here on the surface is a little…. Boring?
