Interesting is this something like spiritual contamination from coming into contact with Star Designers while still only a Senior mech designer.
Alarming observation. Why the hell was Ves thinking like the Polymath? Spent too much time among the Survivalists. Learned and adapted their efficiency-oriented analytical approach. Has clear advantages. Data modeling was superior when compared to his intuition-based approach. Thinking more like a first-rater.

does this mean that Ace pilots were posse a unworthy mind set of God pilots now became eligible to be God pilots? For example, a certain Lancer ace mech that Ves angered by indirectly killing his father by using aliens.
"You already said it yourself, sir. We don't have enough time to allow our high-ranking mech pilots to take their time. Back in the Milky Way, everything was so damn stable that everyone could afford for mech pilots to take decades or centuries to grow into their power. Here in the Red Ocean, there is a real chance that we will all go extinct half a century later. The growth rate of mech pilots is simply too slow. What we need the most are god pilots, lots of them. If that means we must lower the threshold to triggering apotheosis and provide all kinds of conveniences that can drastically shrink the growth rate, then so be it. At least we'll have enough powerful protectors to survive the coming decades."

I see that Ves already forgot one of the metal scroll fragments possible upgrade paths was to help mech pilots grow stronger at a faster rate. which apparently included upgrading a mech pilots neural aptitude.
He had long assumed that mech pilots largely had to rely on what they had always done in order to advance up the ranks. Even when E energy radiation came into the picture, Ves merely assumed that it would only passively speed up the growth in resonance strength of high-ranking mech pilots.

interesting remember how the polymath plan on becoming empress of humanity was to control the kingdom of mech through her fragment of the metal scroll. Does this mean that Ves could vie for control of the kingdom of mechs? Ves also has the fragment of Emma so could be emergency support if necessary. Amazing chapter.

Considering how dangerous giving the Polymath to much power is, I'd say the diplomacy plan or the deep strike plan will win.

The most crazy thing is that assumption is not entirely wrong.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ves nervously smiled. "You can just treat me as an outlier. I have… special reasons why I was able to make so many masterwork mechs at the Journeyman stage."

wonder if this is a start for a path similar to the runes in "City of Sin".
Yes, a rune!
