I don't know about it when I translated this and only learned about till like 100 chapters later hahaha. I felt like an idiot when I found out about it.
TN: Huhuhuhu, it came out as Chansey. I tweak and rewrote half of this chapter and changed it to Happiny. I'm having it as Happiny because it will bother me the whole time I'm translating this but I'll make it evolve pretty early after a few chapters since the author wrote as Chansey already. There will be no cute Happiny moments huhu.

Ok, I'll be honest on this review as a fellow reader despite being the translator/editor of the fanfic. This story is set on Kalos and the start is somewhat the same as Pokemon: A New Path/ Pokemon: Not a Trainer this Time but gradually separates as the story goes further. You'll notice a lot of similar Pokémon or similar roles in the farm as those on Pokemon: A New Path since the task for farming/ranching are all the same anyway. Also, don't expect a lot of fighting or with the fighting being rush cuz they're not that detailed and really short. What can you expect from the story is that, its more of cute slice of life, farming and cooking (lots of cooking) story. Sometimes the story is slow and more on the daily life in the farm and interaction between the mc and his Pokémon. Just don't set a high expectation for it and just think of this as a relaxed read since there's not much of action in here really. Also the pairing is with Diantha, I think. PS. Sorry for lackluster review, I'm just not good at writing my thoughts, I'm too scatterbrained.

Guys, even if I'm not the translator and editor of this novel, the rating is still gonna be 5 stars. This is a fking awesome nostalgia bait Pokemon novel. The main character is Ash starting from his Pallet Town journey with the Champion Ash in his head and the reborn Brock and Misty subtly guiding him in their travels. The story follows the anime storyline but with the author changing it very impressively without changing the feel of the anime, of Ash and the other characters which is quite impressive to me. Genuinely already becoming one of the best Pokemon novels I've read from its 80 chapters that I've translated so far. I'm bad at writing reviews but please give it a read and your gonna find very entertaining. Since I translated quite alot of it already I'm gonna post 2 chapters it everyday except monday so 12 in total.
