What are those? Aside from this, the story is just trash. It's terrible. The pacing is slow and the plot is boring. There is nothing imaginative about the story at all, the MC is exactly what you might expect as a system-turned noveau riche. All the side characters are defined by their job with personalities so shallow its borderline unbelievable. The rich guy is a rich guy, the reporter is a reporter, the talk show host is a talk show host, the coworker is a coworker. They have literally no personality or character development and it appears the author doesn't intend on changing that. TL;DR Wish fulfillment story, except the characters are shells and the translators westernized all the names.

I really hate it when people are judgmental of a story within the chapter comments of a story, so I am really glad to see that the people commenting seem to be casual internet trolls rather than self-employed pro-USA water army members. Webnovels are for enjoying, not for people to yell at each other over cultural differences.

Regarding swordsmanship, it might really be better. It's not like all of Japan and all of China have some kind of unified swordsmanship style, for all we know his Chinese swordsmanship is considered high-end and the Japanese dojo swordsmanship is doo-doo. There are many factors regarding swordsmanship, one that really stands out to me is the intent of the style. For example, some styles are more ceremonial or for dueling than for other battles. It's not impossible for Chinese swordsmanship to be better than Japanese swordsmanship, especially when its on a small scale like this dojo.
