I guess that abusive training being constantly glorified in novels and by people with military backgrouds on different media has made me stop questioning if it truly is the best way to train. Even if it is in the short term, there is a very real possibility of health issues arising (ex. Burnout).

What I mean is that the subtle ways that Sunny and Neph’s presence impacts the environment might be an embryonic form of their own future domains. The intensity of the changes a person passively causes to the environment seems to be correlated to how far they are on the path towards divinity. So my guess is that domains are just the next step in which this “indirect” influence starts to be a lot more powerful.

It would be interesting if Khan’s evolution didn’t follow the current trend of becoming more similar to the Nak. He learned about how they reached the limit of their species so following them too closely might be a dead end. He might want to start studying biology and mutations more closely to understand what he needs to find the optimal evolution.

The source is “Devilman Crybaby”, I highly recommend watching it. It’s a short anime searies that isn’t exactly a remake of the original Devilman manga (1973-1973) but a adaptation of it in a more modern setting. The adaptation was released by Netflix in the west so it’s fairly easy to watch in most countries.

Sunny’s connection to Fate is about to make him feel a sence of dread even stronger than what he expirienced in the observatory. I hope that this time he is somehow able to convince the people responsible for management that they have to evacuate as soon as possible. Last time he wasn’t able to explain his reasoning, but after his recent achievements, explaining that he has the ability to perceive great dangers would be a lot easier. The problem is that even if he somehow convinces upper management of the urgency of a complete evacuation, that might not be possible with so many people present in the Siege Capital. Especially if his perception of great danger only kicks in shortly before the disaster arrives since his ability might not take into account the safety of other people and we all know how resilient Sunny is. By the time Fate starts warning him the nightmare creatures that are going to arrive it might be to late to evacuate the population. All this made me start hoping that Sunny becomes able to use the ability of Weaver’s mask to see fate soon or at least when he becomes a Saint.

This joke made me like Master Roan even more. I would also like to commend the author for being able to build such an immersive world. To me, references to our world almost always come of as cringey when in a fantasy settings, even in the isekai genre, but I never felt this way reading this novel.

I noticed some confusion in the comments so writing it slightly differently ,“soul … shards” intead of ”soul shards …”, might make the joke clearer. Especially since we are so used to reading about souls in this novel in a different context.
