I said one and will say again. Kai friendship with Nono(and her character development) is one of the best part of this story

Independently of my problems with LoK they really knew how to create enemies. Zaheer team is like an evil version of Aang team, just without the non-bender. they even have an airbender as a leader

they had to attack those that have the most fame. The Avatar is the no. 1 on the list, but they also attacked Tenzin and with Mc know as a great firebender and friend of the Avatar they would go for him at some point. that why fame is a double edge sword for those that don't want to follow the plot

The Aizen arc is so great because all the villains motivation had a sliver of truth in it and we can see the problem with the current Soup Society and someone like Aizen would like to remake it
(AN: The part about Aizen flashback is Canon by the way. At least in CFYOW. Basically, it explained why Aizen killed Tosen during the Espada arc. Personally, I believe this was just Kubo and whoever worked with him, trying to make Aizen seems less a bastard by showing that he saw Tosen as something Akin to a friend. But well, it's well written enough so can't argue.)

This bounty part was great to show that a bounty just show how much damage someone did to a rival village and not his/her strength. the Sannin are low because the only noticeable accomplishment is the fight to a legend in a smal country, if they had fought against a legend in a big country it would be a lot higher
Kai's bad mood disappeared until he got to the end of it and he smirked happily. Claiming to be stronger than the Sannins AND showing his strength actually worked. Not to mention the fact, that Team Sakumo did steal valuable 'research' materials.

A figure... blinked in front of Sakumo and the blade. The youth's grin was even more devilish than the scythe-wielding maniac as he held the handle of the scythe with a grip too mighty and thus, held the 'Freak,' midair, too, whole legs were still on the ground but after the initial loss of blood, the man's upper body strangely contained the blood without even healing the insides of his body that still twitched.

These researchers were Minato's and Tsume's kill ONLY after Kai gave them a green sign for it once he found the research tablets. It was gory bits at best with almost all the researchers trying to inject a DNA sample into these specimens. Like what Danzo did with Hashirama Cells but even more primitive and thus, even more deadly. However, all these rooms holding the dead bodies and now, dead 'researchers' who were really nothing more than butchers making the most obvious observations, were a circle holding a triangle within.

Kai smirked and mocked a salute and they went deeper into the labyrinth. As Sakumo expected, there were surveillance seals that recorded and transmitted sound which Kai quickly deactivated, something that made Minato even more distressed as he had given a lot to try and innovate seals... but again, he failed to look at so many things already present. Compared to Kai, Minato truly felt he had wasted a lot of time but while it may partially be the truth, Minato simply wasn't aware of Kai's own respect toward Minato for his grind.
