Putting this here since the author deletes reviews: *ALERT:* Looks like this author deletes all especially low reviews to manipulate their readers into only seeing reviews they want, making a score which should be a low 4 instead far higher. Rough. Here's my review again: This is a bit harsh of a review, but it's honest so I can't quite raise the stars randomly. I'm not sure how others see this book, however, personally, I don't really enjoy seeing the MC get tortured over and over, looking and acting like an idiot, and being used as a slave 24/7. Personal preference, I suppose. Maybe if you trudge through the first thirty chapters, it could be good, but I gave up on the 17th. I can confidently state that to this point, I struggled through and really tried to find something special about the book. I couldn't. Sadly. I wanted to read this, but I just, simply, cannot find anything particularly captivating, unique, or, really, able to pull me in. The MC is beaten up and tossed around like a doll for the first 17 chapters. That's the gist of it. And, while not necessarily bad, I'll point out to everyone that this is not fast-paced. Descriptions and explanations linger on past their expiry, and while some character feel like they have some flavor to them, they're all just terrible and unlikeable. Don't know if this is just a story for guys and they like humiliation and masochism... but at least from my perspective, this is not a story for me, and neither can I find attractive features in it. This book has great potential... But I just don't want a complete loser with no redeeming qualities, thrown into the pit of unimportance to be the MC. I didn't find any low reviews before, so hopefully this provides some clarity to those like myself who weren't sure if they would like this book.

Please forgive my terrible grammar - early sentence fix: To clarify how my first perceptions on this book *were*, I'll convey how some of you, new readers, may find the story initially, too. Thanks/Sorry.
