It's simpler and more accurate to just say he's a genius at the stuff. I don't think our modern logic or technology is worth much in a cultivation world. In a cultivation world only mortals will be impressed with something like that and cultivators will have technology and conveniences far outstripping them. For example spirits that exceeds ai, memory transference to learn techniques, stones that can record stuff in 3d, storage rings, etc.
