So this is my second review after a month of seeing the story development, and it's definitely a fantastic journey so far. As much as I want to put objectivity in this, I just happen to love a protagonist that possess a complex set of emotion, while also being showcased in her character development, and even others' character development. This story greatly accentuate it with every major events. However I do have my gripes with it. In this book while it plays in a completely brand new fantasy world, it still has familiar and earthly elements to a great extent like the concept of Humanity, the days and months. This is greatly explained as well in the story and also why even floating car debris and dilapidated modern buildings exist, but it's certainly something that I need to get used to. Anyway, try reading the free chapters first and see if you like the concept. Things online get crazier and crazier with every chapter.

This story reminded me of a D&D with Lovecraftian theme in a sense, and then given a crack because it's not ridiculous enough, but in a good way! The writing quality is nice and consistent, and the world building is very unique in a sense that you're familiar with the tropes and hijinx, but not the details and context. The world is both dark and hopeful at the same time. It is set in a very game-like world with stats and LitRPG stuff, but it's not a VRMMO yet act similar like it without putting you in disbelief. Very reccomended, even if you don't like the yuri aspect of it just because of how unique the LitRPG abd world building aspect of it 👍

I also heard that person with psychopathy in general have their brain wired differently, so the ability to consciously go beyond her 100% might be because of that.

The throw broke the sound barrier, delivering the equivalent of eight-times the speed of an average baseball pitch with the equivalent mass of a five kilograms dumbbell.

Hi, I'm from the future. And let me do a small essay. The detail screen is not exactly the most precise as it can be, so the "Impossibly Dexterous Fingers" as part of the highlighted traits doesn't mean that it's the only trait the MC possess. The extra 900% of manipulation is one of them, and it's not tied to completely tied to dexterity either. Not to mention, our protagonist is built differently, both his past version and the current version. For one, he dismembered his own hand without hesitation, and now, keep on using her hands despite the amount of bones she broke. That amount of willpower and tolerant to pain combined with the newly acquired impossible dexterity, which is, by definition: the ability to use the hands, fingers, and arms to perform task with skill and ease. Or by the physical definition: the ability to perform a difficult action quickly and skillfully with the hands—this allowed her to chuck that five meters spear like it's a ballista. Human never did 100% of their power because their body will get damaged, Narcissus over here keep on doing more than her 100%, hence the huge list of wounds and damage she took despite not necessarily taking direct attack from the Calamity Objects.

The throw broke the sound barrier, delivering the equivalent of eight-times the speed of an average baseball pitch with the equivalent mass of a five kilograms dumbbell.

It's still good, better than I expected though the pace is quite slow now that I thought about it again. Then again, Carcosa's time is twice that of IRL. Anywho, the story is amazing, extremely reccomended.

MC literally went "Wait, I'm actually smarter now" and proceeded to design a new technology on scientific field that she didn't even good at because she can.

I find the usage of blood as the main driving force of economy to be a little bit terrifying. Not only that it compel people with dark heart to use others to enrich themselves, it also means that getting into debt will have more sacrificial weight than normal.

I like how the narration style for each Pov is different. Narcissus: Straightforward yet dramatic, sometimes detailed and poetic, especially in action scene. Verina: Casual, lax, but went full Shakespeare when it comes to Narcissus. Kuzunoha: Analytical, thoughtful, witty, curiously excited.

Fantasy ACTION ADVENTURE R18 MYSTERY DARK HAREM ANTIHERO CONQUER

"There is no 'I' in team, but there's always a 'con' in economy." The Lunar Elves were known by many worlds as the Gods of Chaos, Impurities of the World, Spawns from Hell, and many terrible analogies that those ungrateful swines had slammed onto the table. Illanoir was one of the Lunar Elves with an extremely complicated history. Barely having any righteous morals, he misled people to think that he had an ounce of it while hiding the indifferent and sociopathic mindset beneath the smile of hospitality. To settle for the enormous debt possessed by his new history, whilst climbing up the ladder of wealth and society—he chose to join the Halcyon Project and embarked to an unexplored world as the valiant Proselyte! Bountiful forest filled with car-sized immortal lizards, the sapient rodent kin that could accelerate themselves to be ten times faster, the druid of the forest who could manipulate the boundary of death... It seemed like the world that he got was not as simple as he thought. _____________ Disclaimer: The cover art is temporary, and it belongs to its respective artist.
