I am actually disappointed by this turn of events. Seems a bit lazy (I may be wrong depending on how it progresses) to remove Sunny from the Nightmare spell and so that the author wouldn't have to write what happens to him or his appraisal by the spell. This is my second major disappointment after killing off the echo of the Saint in a few chapters. Seems lazy.

yeah...this is a failure of the author to write a scenario where he had no other choice but to leave them without saying anything. They could have done exactly this...or give him some time before they attempt the end of the nightmare. Seeing that there was no Torment.
Would they be angry, shaken, and resentful of him? Would they feel betrayed?

rose from his seat
He rose from his sit and walked to the bow of the ketch, unable to remain in place. His mind was too tumultuous for that.

how convenient

isn't this a bit backward? I thought downstream was the future..and upstream was the past...so if they went downstream they would age more...and if they went upstream they would get younger....like what happened with Ananke.
Sunny had known, of course, that killing the Defiled sybil would allow Fallen Grace to migrate downstream and return these people their youth. Knowing and seeing were two different things, however.

what stones? I thought they were on top of a giant abomination?
Far away, in the scorched desert that had been Twilight, ash fell from the sky like snow. In the heart of the ruined city, nothing but darkness remained. Even the air itself had been burned away by the inconceivable heat of the obliterating explosion, and so there were no flames burning on the blackened stones.

Nice, another Wheel of Time reader! (I hope you read the books and not just watched the show). Always nice to find another WoT fan.
And she continued, "There are some really powerful people out there who can alter others' destiny just by being with them."

So...none of them ever question why Sunny can pull Nephis into the shadows but doesn't do it with anyone else???
Sunny took Neph's hand and pulled her into the shadows. The two of them appeared on the battlements below a moment later, while Jet simply jumped down. Cassie glided down with the help of the Quiet Dancer and landed elegantly among the weathered corpses.

Why is he running and not flying? seemed obvious to me..
Before he could collect his thoughts, Yuan heard Azure's voice screaming for his help, and once again, he began running towards the voice, returning to the Immortal Caves half an hour later.
