I’ll give it to you FallenSnug, you’ve attracted me to what a believed was an interesting world with interesting characters to boot. What I didn’t expect was to metamorphose into a skeleton waiting for the newest chapter in the series. I get the feel of imperfections within one’s work but you must keep pushing forward to retain audience attention instead of editing past chapters. That can wait for when you’ve finished.

Very thoughtful conclusion to the Ria arc, It’s nice to see the compromise of letting her sink into escapism with the condition of eventually getting her to wake up at a later date. Normal stories would have ‘let the protagonist win’ but not this one as we probably have time to fit in Ria arc part 2/just wake her up. Props to the author for writing this chapter.

Gender Bender novels have their own niches to fulfil, the idea of taking reincarnation to the extreme to live an entirely different life than the one before is an interesting concept to explore. Now, just because big bad webnovel removed the tag doesn't mean the world is over. It'll be a little harder for you to find your target audience, but it could be resolved by moving the author's audience from here to another site such as scribblehub (who are really into the gender bender game). Lastly, once again Fallensnug seems rather self-deprecating as they've been putting stuff like "I'm not good enough" in their author notes for many chapters. A message to you Fallen, it really isn't as bad as you make it out to be. From what I've seen in this chapter, characterisation has developed quite nicely with us taking a small insight into the personality of the duke. There are many bad novels and ones way worse than yours so take pride you earned the approval of one random person at least.

I’m actually suprised too about how little love you recieve for this novel. The earlier volume was mainstream enough to hook me and grammar was fine and managed to keep me reading. I came from scribble and the most prominent issue would probably be either PR (batch releases kinda don’t work) or it’s just the scribble meta (not female mc or generic op mc). Main point is that story is interesting and you haven’t done too badly.

You’re still in the clear as of right now, we’re really still in the prologue of the novel and your premise was interesting enough to have me hooked on the story for a while. I think your next step is to start with characterisation to keep us caring about both our protagonist and other important characters. I’m not going to hold it against you if you don’t do your releases as I understand it’s just hobby, therefore keep writing as you wish. I’ll be here for a while to give a slightly more critical outlook on some chapters (unlike most other posting empty praises) and then write a review around 40~ chapters in. Good luck with whatever you’ve been doing.

Now here comes the hard part, keeping stuff fresh. Crossing my fingers that the author planned their story out instead of just writing whatever they want. There’s only so much descriptions can do to pad out the action scenes and distract readers before they get bored and catch on to what your doing after realising the MC is too op. Here’s to wishing for slightly faster releases.

Remember, we’re jumping from the official ending of Volume 4, going to sleep, into a sudden arc of everyone pretty much getting isekai’ed and killed. There’s a limit for the amount of stuff you can skip over, and this feels like too much.

If I don’t see an explanation to this mess of a volume introduction and find out it’s locked behind vol 4.5, that’s pretty much a yikes. Something big has happened and we’re randomly being shoved into some isekai arc with near no explanation. I’ll save my review and other half of this rant at the end of the volume.

If I were to be honest, I found the talent test and Noel mental state transfer bit to be both sudden an confusing. I don’t know if it was just me not reading carefully enough but I didn’t really see any build up.

ch 132 Wounds (3)

The direction this story is going towards is kinda weird. Despite having her family threatened, Ano just shrugs it off with no thoughts of rebelling? That’s not to mention how stupid it is to instantly track this generic US citizen and then again, threaten your own country’s people. We’ll probably see some sort of mana detector as otherworldly forces have most likely already made themselves known in this reality.
