And he can take out the reactor for the geck if he needs too.

I began the process by forming small groups and assigning my most trusted veterans to lead the recruits in training. They taught them the basics: discipline, teamwork, and, most importantly, the use of the rifle. Previously, ammunition was a scarce resource, but that was no longer a problem. The Vertibird allowed me to travel back to my refuge and bring thousands of rounds of ammunition in a matter of hours. Fuel wasn't an issue either since I had installed the cold fusion generator. However, using the Vertibird still required Lanius's authorization, which meant I couldn't abuse that privilege. I could only do so if I obtained something valuable enough for Lanius to overlook it... once again.

This is foolish. The Brahman should be used for transport and armor, while the cows are for food.

One of my first steps was to use the stored resources within the facility: the sperm and eggs of cattle. I utilized the artificial wombs to accelerate the breeding process, aiming to replace the mutated Brahmin with cows unaffected by radiation. The cows, with their red meat, were a luxury compared to the mutated, orange meat of Brahmin.

Just create a powder version overhead medicines and put them in food.

During that week, besides working on the vertibird's reconstruction, I also took care of my injured men using medicinal herbs. It wasn't an easy task; many of them were in bad shape, and I had to be meticulous to ensure that each wound received proper treatment. My experience in field medicine helped, but the lack of supplies—or rather, the refusal of the legion to use modern medicine—and the rudimentary conditions made things difficult.

He caves because he has no leverage. yet.

The problem would be raising funds to purchase the land. The Legion could demand the land's surrender to my tribe, but Lanius—he would squeeze every last aureus out of me for equipment to fuel his campaign.

Right... Because you enjoy being backwards.

"You have my authorization, decanus, but remember, some information should not be rediscovered. Any data regarding automation must be destroyed," Lanius said, looking at me intently.

Even if you can survive eating garbage, would you if you didnt have to? Lol.

And since the Legion's doctrine was to live off the land, if I found many cans of food in the area, I was allowed to keep a large portion of them so I wouldn't have to eat the irradiated food my fellow legionaries consumed all day.

I mean, when your options are 1. Legion slave. 2. Dead 3. Wasteland survivor 4. Semi free vault dweller I doubt many will be upset about being a worker for the MC. lol.

Additionally, I acquired another three hundred slaves to increase production for the Legion, which had already generated a lot of economic profit, accumulating a considerable amount of gold and silver. This was in case something happened when the campaign began—I wanted to be the first to make an offer to the Legion for whatever they captured.

As long as rewards rise with it, why should he care? Its his "Residents" hard work not his.

With the help of freedmen, we began to set up a good-sized foundry outside the shelter, converting the cremation furnace. It didn't take long for us to finally complete the Legion's order, even delivering more than they had requested, several months ahead of schedule.

Intelligence without knowledge. You don't just instantly know everything because your intelligent lol.

What these stats were for, I don't know. The supervisor was the only one with one of these portable computers, and again, there were no files indicating their meaning or function.
