UM… Gregs soulbond is like a bull thing. THIS IS A DRAGON. VERY DIFFERENT. Plus before he had no clue about his eyes ability or about beasts, affinities, etc.
To put it simply, Jason felt that he had high compatibility with all of his soulbonds, and it might be because of this that he was able to form a fortified soul conjunction at such a young age.

With greg, his soulbond was his first and was exponentially weaker and it wouldnt be as bad if they werent compatible, while it would be for Seron. Plus hes still hesitant because Seron doesnt care about the whole beast cruelty thing.
There was also the possibility that the Earth Dragon egg with the best potential would be worse for Seron because their compatibility might be bad.

Wheeeeeerreee did he say thaaaaat🤣 He actually said the exact opposite
Everything was much more complicated than he expected and Jason knew that it would be extremely difficult to change humanity's mindset about some beasts. Even if he already heard from Till that their big family has a treaty with the Dryad race which sought asylum on their island, doing it all alone was going to be burdensome.

I really think you just need to reread the book at this point. Literally like 2 chapters ago the author made it obvious that both Till and Seron saw no problem with what they were doing. They’re both relatively young compared to the “old hoagies” or whatever you called them. This isn’t just an old people problem but something the human society is at fault for. If you go back and sort through all of Jason’s meetings with other humans it becomes obvious that the first thing they see when they see someone weeker than them was to look down on him and try and force him to do stuff. Even his masters did this during their very first meeting. Before he didnt really notice this, but once he met and understood the foreign races, he did. Its actually kinda funny how the foreign races humanity is desperately trying to spite were the first “people” who didnt immediately see him as “lower” but rather someone interesting that they could learn from. I’m not at all saying that the foreign races are right in what theyre doing to humans, but from Jasons point of view, along with being just a kid, he instinctively understood that there was a lot more than just levels of strength that seperated humans from both beasts and the foreign races.
It was not that he was hellbent on rescuing everyone or even adversely affecting humanity's growth by helping the Earth Dragons, but Jason just felt that the way humans handled most situations after the mana outbreak was completely wrong.

I keep reading the comments that you’re leaving everywhere and I can’t help thinking you’re just dumb bro… I thought it was obvious that he was referring to the ones the dragons made the deal with but ig not🤣
Sensing these memories and the coherent emotions, Jason was once again disgusted and now that he understood how the Earth Dragons felt, he couldn't help but think that humanity went down the wrong path.

No tf🙄💀
Seeing what happened in front of him told Jason that it was probably necessary to sedate the Earth Dragons. Now, he didn't want to see how they behaved in their normal state as the so-called 'calmed' state was already more than enough for him to handle.

Chill💀 He’s 14 bruh. Plus he has been stuck below the families for the entirety of those 14 years. Obviosly hes going to be upset and distance himslef from Till upon finding out how he sees things. Till clearly hates the other races for treating humans like livestock while he, his family and the other families do the exact same thing to others.🙃And the thing about only knowing 3 families??? He doesnt need to know the rest because if they were any different they would appose the ones who act like the drakes but they havent.
Jason was strong-headed and he wouldn't let anyone else change his mindset without substantial proof that was rational and made sense.

Jiang Luo would never accept that. His eyes akin kindled embers, he left the room, determined he would find a way to hurt Jiang Yao, even if it meant he had to directly meet this Luo Xiao that started it all.

😑😑😑Maybe he just don’t like you? I mean you’re crazy, soooooo...
Jordan just doesn't understand his father, David Perrel! Why does he not come and take care of his wife? Why does he not come and be with them longer? Why does he care for other children when he has one of his own? Surely, it was not about money. They were living quite well, but why did his father choose to stay away? Was the Mo family keeping him? Was it the Mo children? Or was it something else? Jordan didn't understand even until now, he had never had a proper conversation with his father; he wished he could before but now he didn't. He never wants to see him again.

You’re so close. SO CLOSE. Thats exactly the point. Seron is sheltered. Jason is not. He has had nothing but hardships while Seron gets the eqay route. Why should Jason feel bad for him? Also why do you only let age be an excuse for Seron and not Jason? Weirdo…
He was also unsure about Seron because he was loyal and kind under normal circumstances but emotionally unstable and at the same time naive, and easily trusted everyone.
