The pro Hero Burnin let out a shout of surprise, and jumped to the side as the rubble beneath her exploded to reveal a massive lizard that was rapidly regenerating. She threw a ball of fire at it, but had to jump aside again as the fire bounced off its new red tinted scales harmlessly. It charged right past her and lept at the wall, clawing its way out to the top and out of the opening.

The most threatening part about the kid was the fact he could make you depressed just by telling you his life's story. Which kinda played into his favor, Ujiko really didn't feel like killing the kid. It would just be wrong… like kicking an orphan… that was drowning… and didn't have legs.

'Too cluttered.' was his first thought upon seeing the multitude of open tabs leftover from his previous uses, ranging from online games, hero newsboards, and school research assignments. Normally he would be more than capable of sorting through them all, but he was already exhausted from the previous disaster of a day, and now with this rabbit hole of a question eating at his mind, he just really didn't want to spare the mental effort. So with a few more clicks, he had closed all the excess tabs, and was on a blank search page.

Now that he was thinking about it, every history book he had ever read claimed quirks just "appeared" one day and became more common as time went on, and left it at that. But why? Every quirk biology book claimed quirks were the ultimate form of evolution, but that didn't make any sense. The theory of natural selection takes place over hundreds of generations, taking millions of years to make any major noticeable difference; Quirks, meanwhile, appeared seemingly overnight. And even if that was the case, how did it explain quirks that were based on human technology? The hero Ingenium was a great example of this, his mutation type quirk manifested as engines in his elbows! That's mechanical machinery, it doesn't have DNA!

You can always make him join guard then have him impress some chapter that would deem it acceptable to make him into a astartes and later he could join deathwatch(veterans working for ordo xenos in inquisition) or be noticed by grey knights and kidnap- ehm i mean recruited into their ranks

Just some notes bout certain grozps you mentioned: I dont need to say why adeptus sororitas are imposaible for him to join. Adeptus custodes doesnt make sense to me since they are made from emperor genes and cutting piece of big E sounds quite heretical. Adeptus mechanicus just doesnt fit with personality you gave him. In my opinion most sense would be either astra militorum, black templars or grey knights.
