I’m kind of on the fence around this, because in the first chapter, when the Karen was berating him, he wanted to punch her, but held himself back, because he knew he’d lose his job, maybe get sued etc. But now that he’s rich, these aren’t problems for him, money solves everything, so when the dude started calling him a nobody and berating him, I don’t think it’s that much out of character.
I'm curious to see what they want to pull. Whatever it is, I will tear them down.

Russell filed that information away. From his observations, most first-years were bronze-level, with only a handful reaching silver. Heath himself was apparently close to breaking through, which seemed to be the norm for ambitious students.

Based on what we’ve seen, the hurdles for this plan would be: 1. Seeing if the MC could even craft a noble phantasm without creating Medea 2. Getting some kind of rule breaker component at the bronze level (because he isn’t silver yet), which I’d assume is just under the level of spatial components in terms of rarity, or maybe higher, it’s quiet a niche component 3. The story so far has been very strict on tiers. Bronze can rarely affect Silver and so on. I’d assume the contracts are at least Gold level or higher (as it binds the dude with the sick wife - I think Marcus), so the dagger probably wouldn’t be able to brake that bond. Anyway, I quite like it, as the Court and Association obviously aren’t saints, so it leaves options for the MC.
On the surface, however, he maintained a facade of compliance and understanding. "I'll keep a low profile and stay under the radar," he assured her with a sigh. "No need to worry. If there's nothing else, I'll head back now."

You forget about prop/equipment cards. The MC already mentioned that he only has character props (other than the one iron rank defensive item). For all we know at this point, the tiger could have equipment. One things that comes to mind, considering this is a CN, is a bead that buffs wind abilities.

The demon's control over wind currents was beyond his initial estimates—each swipe of its claws generated miniature hurricanes that could level buildings. Even Yoriichi, with all his supernatural swordsmanship, couldn't break through immediately.
