He could be articulate and he could also be to the point, and even if he had to play a character to try and trick others, he could do it. He could even try to be a suave flirt if he wanted, but he could only do that because he knew it was all fake.

I would have personally used the magic to make wooden arrows to make a spike mat by striping the wood down to twine then cutting the other arrows in half before making a spike mat or the vietnamese favorite trap the hide in the corpse pile.
Ryan had to work for two hours before he could create a massive barrier of corpses on what seemed to be the final tunnel that would lead to the end of the dungeon. Even an army of goblins wouldn't be able to destroy that wall of corpses faster than Ryan could kill the goblins, and considering that there was just a small bifurcation that the goblins could use to reach him, Ryan was certain that he would obtain enough time to increase the corpses on that barrier.

Fair. But even then, blacksmithing is about 90% metal working, 5% wood working. And 5% leather working. Bowyers make more since because that is the entire point of their craft. But kick understand where the author is coming from as well as you. This was more of a way to make sure to she reads don't go looking for a actual blacksmith and expect them to make them a bow.
