The story is invincible, viltrumites(the mc's species) have smart atoms that have various functions. They seem to not be used to their full potential in canon though. The author could push then further in this fanfictions

I've found this on reddit, i thought that you might get some ideas for the 2 fanfictions: I gotta say after reading the Appendix in its entirety, the Viltrumites got so much wasted potential! Granted the writers need to balance the power-scaling so that's understandable but here's some of what they could do if they had pushed their Smart Atom tech to the theoretical limits that I can think of (Especially since every ability in the Invincible universe has an in-universe science basis): 1. Always found it funny that a Viltrumite has to hold his breath in space. Since Viltrumites are powered by Background Energy, a thoroughly advanced Viltrumite doesn't need to extract energy from Oxygen. It's like an evolutionary vestige they never bothered to fix. 2. Invulnerability. In the "Smart Atoms" section it's mentioned that smart atoms can hold fixed relative positions with other particles somehow. They should be be much more invulnerable they the writers allow them to be. Mark and Thragg should be bathing in the sun with no problem instead of getting their outsides burned up. 3. Disintegrate objects or people by creating subatomic blackholes throughout the object/people 4. Shapeshift by atomic repositioning 5. Self-duplicate by Smart Atoms reconstruction 6. Immortality. Just program your atoms to repair any damage caused by aging 7. Omniscience or limited omniscience. Their smart atoms can pass information through space and time instantaneously by subatomic wormholes, so what's stopping them from doing the reverse and receive information from everything their subatomic wormhole can reach? 8. The only memory he lost is about dc and marvel, he remembers invincible and everything else. I doubt he is going to learn anime martial arts honeslty. They wouldn't makes sense in this context, considering how realistic the author is trying to be unlike the usual fanfictions. Also, with his powers whats the use of those crazy techniques?

Cool. I first thought that you made greg stronger due to the mc's disadvantages. Now though it seems that he was a mutant and his x gene amplified the power he gained from the insects at the cost of his mind. Thats a great idea, i guess we will be seeing more characters from marvel and dc changing due to similiar situations.

Look up the wiki page for extremis in the comics, he gained a lot of abilities that didn't exist in the movie version. He also has psyonic energy immunity and magic immunity.

The author already said that he doesn't like the insomniac version's lack of fire weakness so he will likely include it in this story

You think too much, they just thought those designs were cooler than the usual. Anyway it doesn't really matter, this story's serum is the best one. Those lizards might be stronger but they can't heal like him and thats what matters. Raw strenght will come from other sources.

I know it won't happen but i wonder how the world would react if he said that he can copy mutant's genes and give powers to other people. He could also talk about his lizard serum, a nerfed version at least. He could start developing a version that can regenerate limbs and maybe even heal wounds from burns and acid for example but it would need to be a one time use and not have permanent effects.

That was the mutant gene from shaw. He can only get 2 types of energy absorption for now. In the future he will activate the others too and eventually he will be able to absorb every kind of energy. I don't remember any mention of limits for extremis. On the contrary iirc this version is perfect and only gives benefits without any issues

It's not the mcu version. The mc made it perfect, it now grants all the abilities of all the versions of extremis in comics. If you don't know all the effects look up the wiki page on fandom. It's quite strong.

This world has a strange timeline. It makes things more interesting though

Okay, i looked around the web but couldn't find anything about sith abilities causing self harm, aside from extremely potent ones that are far too powerful to be used in the story, like the one that makes stars explode... So there isn't that much sinergy with the phoenix fruit. Sadly i'm not creative enough to come up with a creative and powerful build for her. I await the time of her appearence.
