I have completed the raws and oh boy, never was I so bored and disappointed in a novel. I'll tell you the two main themes of the entire novel - comedy and romance is BAD. Like some other reviewer said, if stupidity is the base of comedy and you find it funny, then you might wanna re-evaluate your thinking. Throughout the story, the MC never develops. In the first 100 chapters, you might think the MC isn't a p*ssy and has a backbone which to some extent, I don't deny but what happens in the next 30 or so chapters? The MC was forced to crossdress by his group. That was supposed to be funny but I didn't feel it. Crossdressing or gender-bender was never my jam so I was about to drop it but I didn't hoping it would get better. Fast forward to more than 500 chaps, MC and the FL solidify their relationship after some ups and downs but guess what? The relationship wasn't a proper one. MC was restricted to do some things and throughout the entire story, MC was subjected to comedic domestic violence. I'm not exaggerating a bit. It's kinda sickening because even the most ***ist CEO novel/manhua doesn't use the comedic undertone in times of domestic abuse. The side characters were likeable but again, the forced comedy kicks in and destroys everything. If I take this novel as a standard power fantasy, then too it is below-average. The bad guys, well, for the most part, they are stupid. I remember MC being stuck in a realm for like 300 chapters and he wasn't even that strong after the level-up. The ending was needlessly dragged out. All in all, I have to say that the entire novel HEAVILY relies on comedy. I'll just go ahead and directly say it again, if you like the style of comedy you need to "upgrade" your thoughts.
