he will definitely try to not help, at least. Sunny's Dream Realm Appliances would be a fun side story.

If you read Supreme Magus, legion always does two at a time, and I find it gets really... rigid. The pacing is always some snippet of two-chapters-of-progression. I find there's less build up, and the pacing gets kind of boring. might as well just be one longer chapter a day. I like 1 today 3 tomorrow because guilty can put out a standalone filler that is more cliffhanger than fulfilling, but then put more focus into 3 chapters where really awesome things can happen, and it can flow how the author wants it, instead of always slicing off a break every two chapters. Me today has to go hungry so me tomorrow can enjoy the feast!

Honestly, cliffhanger anxiety aside, I find the pacing of Shadow Slave is actually pretty amazing. Almost every day is interesting in some way; many other books go into boring back story chapters for days at a time, or they just waffle around for like 10 chapters to string together some obvious plot, but even when delivering back story or changing arcs, I find each day of Shadow Slave enjoyable to read. Even this chapter where very little progression happened, I instantly wanted sunny to use his skills to build a furnace for their power plant, and I'm wondering how G3 gonna get sunny roped in.

"Actually, there is progress! We are very close to creating a working model of a power station. There is no reason for electrical power not to work in the Dream Realm, right? And yet, it doesn't… for now. But mark my words, I'll have the streets of Bastion illuminated by electric lights before the end of the year. And from there, all manner of things will become possible."

MY KINDA GIRL!
Unlike Teacher Julius, who visited Bastion in his sleep, she was a mundane human residing here permanently. It also seemed like she was visiting the Brilliant Emporium after burning the midnight oil and working through the night, instead of doing so first thing in the morning.

"Because it's dead," she said. "That thing you saw, it's dead. It's just a corpse floating around in space from a time long past, from a primordial era."

and then sunny spends seven years building and selling appliances while clone 3 builds an empire.
There was no ice inside, either. Instead, the enchantment was the reverse of another charm he had lost, [Memory of Ice]. There was a luminous enchantment, too, activated when the door of the cabinet was open. A third enchantment created a dedicated reserve of essence that powered the first two, so Sunny just had to replenish it once every few months.

sunny getting his old friends hooked like a real gansta
While Brilliant Emporium could not contend with more prestigious restaurants in Bastion, hot beverages like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were Sunny's selling point. That was because he exclusively used the pure water from the Endless Spring to brew them, which made each cup especially invigorating.

I dunno guys... I actually like 1 today 3 tomorrow sometimes. Other books with rigid 2-chap daily releases get really ... predictable. The pace gets boring, the author always has to cut it off once they get going. I'm sad I only get a taste today, but for the feast tomorrow, G3 has more time and freedom to whip up something more amazing, without having to stick to a rigid pacing. I think it leads to a way better experience over time. When it's always two chapters every day, it might as well just be one chapter, because they always wind up as "today part one" and "today part two". 1 today 3 tomorrow breaks it up and let's G3 do bigger things with less unnatural constraints due to scheduling. Can't wait to see what's going to move forward tomorrow. Will we finally see Rain again? G3 prolly gonna tease us some more before we see Nephis again.
