I was just thinking about technology then and began rewatching Little House of the Prairie where it shows the Mill and it's engine powered belt that spins to cut the lumber. I am guessing 1870's is the show, but, I may be wrong. I also looked up the Meiji Period and it said 1890's & Japan first Car was in the 1900's... So Midori's story is probably around 1912, using The Car on the Titanic as the type of enclosed Vehicle the wealthy families are driving in... so all this jumbles into the crank spinning press that Midori could assemble to help with the Fruit cutting and crushing to make her Drinks without a modern blender. Where she could technically use the future as an aid to make herself a wealthy life for her and the baby. Like the Clocks have cogs that spin together, she could use a bicycle to spin the cogs that rotate the arms or metal limbs to blend the fruits to make her Drinks. I wonder if Japan had ice boxes like the Frontiers Settlers did to help keep food cold or to keep cool in the hot summers ? 🤗 Just trying to help Midori's Shoppe become a popular place here soon.

EXCEPT there was no NEED for Police at a Play. Yes, something bad did end up happening, so how did you get there so fast ? Author never mentioned that Midori's family was in the audience to begin with. That does make Samurai knowledge sense, however, I need to know more about this era you are in... Since you have enclosed automobiles, I was guessing the story is somewhere in late 1800's to early 1900's... no cranks to start the engine either... I am not a Japanese History Buff, though, I would expect Samurai Swords to be BEFORE automobiles in general. OR was this the incorrect details the previous Author screwed up on ??? Maybe I should look up information on Samurai & Vehicles in Japan. 🤔
