Hate-reflecting sign (Basiclly a no u for murderous intent and hatred it reflects hate) and last known one i think was Somne (puts people to sleep). lose? maybe yes, but wiping off any smug look of bete's face is totally possible. Just surprise him with the max amount of gravity you can muster. probably won't kill him, but depending on how strong his body is and since he'll be unaware you can get him to kneel at least.
And also he knows if they fight, he will undoubtedly lose because he can sense that bete is stronger than him.
