Bodil hurries and takes a left turn at the next corner but collides with something hard. She yelps in surprise. She loses her footing and braces herself for the fall. However, she never hits the ground. The princess slowly opens her eyes and finds herself in the arms of a beautiful man smiling down at her. His right arm is tight around her waist and his face so close she can feel his warm breath on her neck.
