Okay, the previous paragraph said "Before their divine senses reached", so I'm guessing Light Spirit undid the layer in accordance to the teleport possibility information that they gave the assassins. Yano might have just told the others that the targets possibly used a secret method to hide from Divine Senses but usable only once.
As soon as the Enemy's Divine Sense passed through them, Light Spirit warned Krune. As per the plan, Krune's group speed immediately soared as they dashed away. Of course, they wouldn't be as fast at the Divine Soul Realm assassins. Only Krune, perhaps, would be able to do it if he was alone. Yano, who was tracking them, immediately told Lanis about what happened, and their group increased their speed too.

Also, to be able to relay information before dying is better than dying directly. It will increase the chance of the mission to be completed, and lessen the chance for that kind of penalty to happen.
In the end, everyone decided to follow this plan since Krune and Hulibe had a point. If they wait too long, the other two assassins might get back on their feet and help getting rid of them. Of course, they didn't know that Angil wasn't a risk anymore, so they also considered him as a treat.
