nah, you are both wrong. if you are hearing slurs every day in your life, that means one of three things. because again, the world as a hole doesn't have time to hate for no reason because most people are minding their own business.1- you got unlucky meeting the one percent person who wasted their time hating every day, and you can't remove them from your life.2- you do things through your own actions to be called something. and people say something wanting to just hurt you back due to your actions because people as a hole don't waste time hating unless given a reason.3- You are the one percent that is just saying those slurs being the racist.blind hate for a race is rare. there is normally a reason for hating others that come across your path.also, this paragraph is pointless a few chapters in when there is racism in the new world he is in anyway

this is a dumb comment. no one wants anyone to die for the most part, but when it comes to your own life or the thiefs, you better choose your own life. secondly, in most of these cases, you need the strength and luck for both sides to get that second chance in life. if the victim can disarm and decapacitate the thief without killing cool, but that is just foolish to think that it is that easy to do. also, it is foolish to think your life would be spared after the thief takes your lively hood, so defending your life to someone who is threatening it is not wrong to do, and if the thief dies it not a bad thing since he it was the predicament they put themselves in.

"What will the family of this young man do? Will they blame you? However, you have also died, and you also were in a dangerous situation. They can't blame you. Will they blame the young man for his actions? A little, but does something like this warrant an immediate death?"
