I’m curious. It said in chapter 1 that they could only take the test at 16. Is that a government thing and families have different methods, or are bloodlines more likely to have circuits and therefore they can train a few youths to be prodigies if they indeed have the mana circuits?

It also specified pretty early that the loyalty bond determined how much of a part he got in the advancement if one of his followers killed it (third chapter during the test I think. Low loyalty=1%) so he’s only directly killed 8-10ish. I’m assuming that of the thirty, 18 died and he killed the last 7, the one in the last chapter, and it doesn’t specify how many others he finished when they went to help the paralyzed ones but between 2-4 seems reasonable.
Despite that, Michael's refinement degree didn't reach the Mid-level. It was not that easy to increase the refinement degree of the War Rune, forget about advancing Tiers. Michael would have to work a lot harder to advance Tiers and become an even stronger Lord!
