tell me if this sounds weird or wrong but with the incredible healing Factor wouldn't you be able to eventually adapt to metal poisoning either because of antibodies or the body changing somehow to get used to the metal
Going back to Earth real quick, I removed all damage done by the adamantium poisoning to Logan's physiology, and the suppression of his healing factor, then I used matter manipulation, to make him completely immune to adamantium poisoning, and instead be strengthened by the reactions between adamantium and his physiology.
