They did want to leave them behind and move on. On the first planet that is. On the Zafins planet the twins got feelings for them and laid the girl. You might want to re-read chapter 648 and 649 in Roans case. After the war on the 2nd planet they opened the gate to the god realm at the blood pond and were separated from Qia and Calina because the thing behind sister orb found a better spot for the twins and Kentucky+Celis to land on. The girls went to the other end of that portal with everyone else but we still didn't get any info of what happened to them. Really left behind were Malaka and Agis because they got a child and wanted to stay on the zafin planet in the freedom sect.
