A couple of chapters back I was wondering if the developers were capable of monitoring Rudra. I was also wondering why they hadn't really called him out on cheating, or at least having information he shouldn't have, if they could monitor him. I'm glad that this happened, because at least we now know that they can, in fact, monitor his actions. That said, their reaction is a bit different from what I expected. >_>
ch 129 Consequences

Have you ever specified whether or not the developers can monitor Rudra's actions? If they can't, then fine. I understand why he is able to get away with all of the stuff that he has been getting away with so far. But if they can, then how are they not calling him out for cheating right now? Furthermore, if they can monitor him but are choosing not to, then why? He was accused of cheating early on, so they have an excuse to do so. AND they know that he has openly exploited bugs in the system to boost the leveling speed of himself and his guild members. So, it isn't as if they don't have an idea of what he is capable of. You'd think they would be a little more interested in making sure that he is playing the game properly. Especially since it involves "real" money. Any kind of suspected cheating should be under scrutiny. I'm just saying... it is kind of hard to suspend my disbelief when Rudra isn't even trying to make it look like he is following the script that the developers clearly intended for the players to follow. Even more so when he is blatantly lying about the function of one of his abilities, using it as the basis for why he knows as much as he does about the chalice. Among other lies he has told, which would easily fall apart if the developers investigated his claims.
ch 127 Where does his loyalty lie?

I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit upset that Varian never warned Evander about Kreo. Varian really didn't have a good reason to keep it a secret, given everything else Evander already knew/figured out. And letting Evander know that his mind has already been messed with once would have put him on guard. Maybe enough to decline an in-person meeting with the Sovereign, and instead having it done over a video chat or whatever. ... I'm just saying, it feels out of character for Varian to not consider a possibility like this. He already knew that Kreo and Julius tried to have him killed, so why take any chances? >_>

Wow, this was uncharacteristically stupid of Varian. I mean, maybe you don't intend to have Dr. Thomas remember things, but all I can think of is the phrase:

Lol, at this point I'm also impressed by how many different ways the author has mispronounced it. I've come to just think of her as Sylivia, and just try to block out all of the other spellings. Even if it is distracting. XD

Correction on the chapter number. It's 795 that he sees the divination item. Stupid typo.
ch 797 Secret of The Twin Swords
Sci-fi · Flaming Fortress
Well done author. You managed to create an entire arc around retrieving the Heaven Sword and restoring the Earth Sword, only for GQS to find out that he would be walking right into a trap if he does so. But we all know he is going to walk into the trap anyways, because if he doesn't then he wont be able to restore the Earth Sword. Actually, now that I think about it, humanity(as in the ones from the era that GQS is currently in) must have known something was up, because they have hidden the Heaven Sword(or the method for forging it) within the phantom images, waiting for someone to take it. Why do that unless they thought the Heaven Sword could be used against them in some way? I'm beginning to think that maybe Xie Gu Hong picked up that one divination item that GQS passed up(from chapter 796, in case whoever reads this wants to confirm it themselves), and somehow learned the truth through it. Although this is only an educated guess, and I could be wrong.

Sci-fi · Flaming Fortress
Errr, isn't he forgetting that he can literally turn into a Desolate monster? Well, whatever. It's time to meet his master again! I wonder if his master will recognize him, or at the very least, recognize the Earth Sword that he has.
ch 785 Entry
Sci-fi · Flaming Fortress
I meant it was a flaw in the sense that if it were publically revealed that the lives they(the Divinities in the phantom image) are living isn't "real", then they would feel inclined to help the Golden Flame Divinity as a result. After all, they can't leave the phantom image, which means they can't change their fates, but the Golden Flame Divinity can. Helping him is essentially the same as helping the Divinity race(at least those who are still alive). On the other hand, there isn't any meaning in their "King" learning the secret at this point. Because if the Divinities in the phantom image knew the truth, then they would have to assume that their "King" wouldn't be able to do anything with it anyways. Hence, it's a flaw. ;)
ch 781 Conflict of Present And Future
Sci-fi · Flaming Fortress
There is only one potential flaw here: The Golden Flame Divinity only needs to reveal that they are all in a phantom image and that they have long since died, and the God of Lies can directly confirm that he is telling the truth. If that happens, GQS would once again be put in a tight spot.
ch 781 Conflict of Present And Future

Yummy? But seriously, I figured that he would take advantage of this situation to disguise himself as a Divinity. Although the one I thought he would be disguised as was the one who he knew would die, but it's nice to see that it's actually one who was supposed to live. It gives him a lot more freedom to do whatever he wants.

If he is paying Goati 70% of the total price on the bloodlines and is turning around and selling them back to Looby at 95% (once he gets the bloodline he wants out of it), then he is making a 25% profit. Unless, for some reason, the 70% that Goati charges Felix is significantly higher than the 95% that Looby is paying for them. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this. Because I'm honestly confused as to why Felix is acting like he is taking a 5% loss on this deal.
