If you are a huge Chinese fan and know a lot of chinese history and mythology, then MAYBE this will be a good read for you. But for everyone else, it will just be so un-immersive that you will find yourself bored and wasting your time. For my the Americans out there reading this, it would be like if the MC entered a "stargate" and ran into Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla right as they are inventing the applicational use for electricity, or if you randomly ran into Abraham Lincoln before the whole theatre incident. So please, save yourself the time, and coins, by NOT reading this story.

I've pushed through until chapter 400+ and while I enjoyed the story, and have grown to ignore the Chinese nationalist racism, I think I'm done with this story. The plots and world building were pretty good for a while, but then became repetitive, he is the only one that got any kind of actual assistance from the "world" while everyone else, even the 2nd place island lord, got subpar hand-me-downs, which makes it basically impossible for anyone to progress in that world except the MC. All the "Hero's" that he gets are all Chinese generals and ancient folklore/mythology, so unless you are stupidly well read on all Chinese history and writing, you won't understand the gravity behind him having Zughe Liange (I think I spelt that right lol) as a strategist/general, or any of the other influencial historical chinese figures.

the manga is way further than the translation, and with only 3 chapters a week, 12 chapters get pushed a month... not worth your coins. Stick with the Manga/Manhua or learn to read the OG language, cuz at least it's free and further than this lazy translators work.
