I read the rest of the chapters on mtl and the story got incredibly bad. The first arc is good and the following arcs are just a repeat of the first but they keep getting much worse. The world building, MCs personality, character motivations, all became trash.

Worst MC ever. I think the author wrote the MC like this as a joke but it fails so much. There is a big difference between being low key and being a streight up coward. Although the relationships that MC has with some of his sect members are present as if they are close but he only interacts with them for a few minutes after hundreds of years. That just makes them feel forced and unimportant. The story is a decent and the comedy works sometimes but everything just gets ruined by a stupid and timid MC.
