One of her abilities allows her to steal some of her enemies soul fragmentswhen the are killed. All Awakened can do this but only when they kill other Awakend humans. Nephis’s ability allows her to do this with nightmare creatures as well. So basically, whenever she kills a Nightmare Creature, she gets a certain amount of soul fragments and then afterwards she can absorb the creature’s soul shards that she digs out of their corps for more soul fragments. This is one of the reasons why Sunny has had such a tough time catching up to her is soul cores. Simply because she is able to earn them through both killing and absobtion, while Sunny is only through killing. Also, the amount she gets for killing is different than Sunny. Sunny gets it based of the Creatures Rank and Class. Also, if their rank is below his, he doesn’t get anything. Nephis on the other hand gets it in proportion to the creatures soul fragment amount and quality. Sunny would get nothing for killing a Awakened Demon as a Master, but Nephis would still get something it’s just that the fragments effectiveness would be reduced by half. Similar to how when Sunny gives Saint a memory to absorb that is a rank below her own, she still gets fragments, just they are halved by the difference in rank.
The pain of its creation had already passed, and Nephis was a Titan now.

Ha! That’s one way to do it I guess. Sacrifice one core to kill enough things so you get two more!
Seven suns shone brightly above her head.

Finally, we get to see Nephis’s Soul Sea!
Nephis was standing on the surface of a calm ocean. The world around her was suffused with sunlight, and the perfectly still water below her bare feet glowed beautifully, reflecting the brilliance of heaven.

Yeah, this realization just hit me too. Before, I just thought she was trying to get away from all of Soul Stealers thralls.
A wave of incinerating fire, taller than the towering walls of the city, spread outward at lightning speed, consuming everything in its path — buildings, trees, cobblestones, even air itself… and all the tiny human figures flooding the crumbling streets.

To an extent, every time she heals herself she feels like she is being burned alive. So it’s less of will she run out of essence and more so of how long can she endure before her mentality collapses from pain.
Nephis cut a road of blood and scorched bodies through the human flood, refusing to go down. Why would she? These swords, these spears, these arrows, these nails and teeth… she would withstand them all. Using her Dormant Ability did not diminish her essence, and so, she would continue to kill, and maim, and burn until Soul Stealer came in person to put a stop to her.

"Fuck it! You shouldn't approach the Soren Ruins."

At first I thought it was talking about Sunny
"Shai-nee! Shai-nee!"

Aww, I guess that was the dog before it became corrupted and the locket belonged to its owner who it probably loved very much.
The Memory looked like a large iron locket tied to a black leather cord. Inside the locket was an image of a meadow surrounded by tall hills, with a river running through it and a forest visible in the distance. A black dog was resting in the shade of a tall tree. The drawing was simple and crude, as if made by a child.

I can’t tell if he’s talking about his six personality shadows or the shadow creatures that appear in his soul after he kills them. If it’s the later, couldnt he theoretically imbue the sentience of say, the Serpent King into a Echo and talk with him?
Anyone else would, but he already had something to substitute artificial sentience with… the true sentience of the silent shadows dwelling within the darkness of his soul.

Since every Divine Realm was connected to a God, this was probably the Realm of Storm God.
"The world where I come from was one of those six realms. It is similar to the Great River, actually… a beautiful world covered entirely by water, with countless islands rising from it like gems. A world of storms, winds, and stars. Well… it was, before. By now, it must have been consumed by the Dream Realm already."

He should also use his shadow domain fragment and see if it’s a one time thing
He summoned a Memory. Soon, an ominous mirror encased in dark silver appeared in his hand, its surface like a pool of mercury. The Mirror of Truth…

Lol, you tell ‘em Sunny! 😆
'There. Eat that, bastards.'

True, but you also have to remember that the main component of Effie’s aspect is that she gets an incredibly large boost in strength. Although the Mad Prince is Sunny as a Corrupted Titan, unlike Nightmare Creatures who gain new abilities as they go up in rank, humans just get stronger and more powerful. So although he may be a Titan and her a Beast. The only difference that the number of cores make for them is their physical strength, but because of the nature of her aspect, their physical strength shouldn’t be all that different. What I’m suprised about in all this is that Dead Lord who I‘m assuming is the Corrupted version of Kai is the strongest out of the 6 Plagues. Although he is strong, out of the 6 of them I would consider him to be on the weaker end of their group in terms of direct combat.

Ohhhh, I didn’t even think about that. Maybe these are all creatures that the Defiled version of herself had killed and eaten.

He can also just teleport out using the shadows
Logically, Sunny understood that he would be able to escape the drowning temple even if it collapsed and started sinking. Not only was he strong enough to break through the stone walls, he also possessed Memories of the House of Night that allowed him to swim like a fish and breathe underwater.

What does this memory do again?
After a while, the two of them settled into a rhythm. Sunny was looking for those slates that were in one piece, while Nephis collected those that had been broken into pieces, but could be restored, and put them back together with the help of the Dark Shaper.

No, if you read it again, it says that he didn’t think somebody would be crazy enough to collect them all.
"Listen… those coins are very precious, I'll let you know! Who could have thought that someone would actually be crazy enough to collect them all? But, uh… someone did. A very determined and reckless young man, in fact. That daredevil took the knife and disappeared. He was probably killed for it, but where and how, no one knows. The Obsidian Knife was lost… but as I said, these knives never remain lost for long. And here you are, Sunless, wielding it. So…"

I understand them being weaker than Bloodwave on paper, but what about Naeve? He is a master just like them and he doesn’t even have a True Name while they do. No offense to Naeve, he is one of my favorite Masters that we’ve met so far but I feel like on paper and In real life, he’d be weaker that Neph and Cassie. On land at least, maybe not in the water.
…Even though the two of them were weaker than the champions of the House of Night on paper, Sunny somehow felt more reassured in the company of these two young women.

I’m glad that this armor hasn’t been destroyed yet. I hope Sunny gives it a upgrade.
After a while, Nephis realized that her tunic had been destroyed, and summoned another Memory. The familiar weight of the Starlight Legion Armor — the only one she had left — settled on her shoulders, making her feel comforted.
