Aimee takes characters along a journey of Polar opposites much less from different cultures/worlds, if that wasn't enough - there is family fudes, power struggles and fighting for your lover all the while being werewolves hiding in cities. A great tail that will keep you hunting for more.

"bad boy and menopausal goose ..." such an image there had to stop a sputter of laughter next to sleeping hub (I read mostly at night)

Tommy's face doesn't move. Suddenly I catch a glimpse of the rocker bad-boy the entertainment stories are forever talking about. Before, they'd baffled me. The Tommy I knew was about as much of a bad boy as he was a menopausal goose. But the Tommy I knew wouldn't bail on me without warning either. So I'd convinced myself maybe I just didn't know him anymore.

The first masterpiece(in a small series) of a very talented artist who weaves passion, pain, faith, and fear all wrapped up in Fur and human flesh in surprising and at times humorous ways. Life "unscripted", raw emotions described beautifully from beginning to end. This one book made me read 4 more of her titles and look forward to others from her talented mind/heart.
