To save everyone time, I'll just tell you that the first 39 ch were completely blah. Basically what happens: 1. Reborn FL has a voice in her head that tells her she NEEDS to save ML from his accident 2. ML is aloof ice cube who conveniently gets "people/relationships" amnesia 3. Believes FL when she says she's his gf 4. The rest of the story is rich guy automatically liking her & FL needing to make up lies to fill plot holes (+ more filler like white lotus drama, "old crush who rejected her and now wants to pursue her" drama) Why it's mediocre 1. Never explained the whole "voice in head" thing 2. ML falls in love too quickly for how his character was built pre-accident and the whole world is confused 3. ML is supposed to be super rich, op, big ceo energy. But he's weirdly dumb with FL and it throws me off (not whipped husband/spoils her type but "ok I'll believe everything you say" type) 4. FL is lowkey annoying, just lies constantly without explaining anything, basically using ML. She's def not in love with him and keeps distancing herself. 5. School drama, family drama is like every other white lotus/bad parent story (FL can stand up for herself though, so there's that) Only thing new is her biological brothers both have a "disability" but really one's a genius & the other has bad temper. Not sure if author's gonna explore the disabilities and their stigmas bc right now it's just being thrown around as an insult. Anyways it's a no for me, but you do you.

(LONG REVIEW) Don't be thrown off by the synopsis, it really doesn't do the novel any justice. It makes it seem like any other transmigration novel out there. Set up: 1. Modern day strong FL in body of weak ancient woman 2. ML (powerful) currently living humble life as a monk next door BUT: 1. *NOT* a cultivation novel, no focus on fighting or training etc. Just enough jump rope to get a healthy body that won't die in the winter. 2. "Weak body" doesn't magically become strong and gets revenge like every other novel ever. FL is MENTALLY STRONG/STREET SMART but still physically weak (docile, need ML protection in the form of shelter, hugs and care). 3. FL x ML have slow burn romance, it slowly builds but it's SO wholesome. Not the "hey I laid my eyes on you, now you're mine!!" For pacing, by 39 ch they are both very much aware of their feelings and openly flirt. The fluff starts very early on, not like the ones where you wait 100 ch for them to be like "ooh what is this feeling" and then another 100 for maybe a kiss. 4. Currently takes place in a TEMPLE. No palace fighting (as of now), no consort ranks, no schemes or poison etc. Just good ol nature and homemade food delivery for fluffy goodness. G-rated flirting, but you can totally tell they like each other. 5. NO OTHER LOVE INTEREST. ML is focused only on FL. And she's bold enough to say that she can't share her man. Boy will be whipped in the future. 6. Great character design and world building. The characters are so fleshed out and the way they react has so much personality. Not like other novels where servants are cared for, but are basically background props in terms of personality. s/o to ML's servant for being best wingman.

39 chapters in, this one's not bad! It's not terribly cliche. Kind of refreshing, actually. Non-cliches - FL was temp kicked out of entertainment scene, but instead of being a damsel in distress...she goes back to being a rightful CEO of a top company - no stepmom, no evil sister - FL isn't an orphan or swapped at birth or anything - FL/ML are exes PROS - Friendship between FL & her bestie is amazing. Women supporting women, we stan. Friends on this site are usually trash and shallow, but here they're so supportive and loving. - FL is crazy independent and good at faceslaps. She's smart while also being a decent human being. So not one of those annoying faceslap robots with no class. - ML is so doting. Obviously he gets jealous, but he doesn't act on it. We just sense it in the scenes when he's at work or something. And yet he's her #1 support and totally backs her up (aka he doesn't take out his jealousy/stress on FL and she literally has no idea about all the help he's given her). Healthy relationship, we stan. CONS - FL...pls just love ML soon TT. It's been 39 ch and I want some sweetness. (Anyways, no major cons. Even her biological family ships them. EVERYONE ships them. So just need to read more to figure out why they're exes and not happily married.)

Usually I don't reply to others' opinions, but I have to highly disagree with your view on rape. I know a couple victims myself and it's not something you just magically "move on" from and pretend it didn't happen. You're treating it too lightly. Rape is more than physical harm and affects the person in every which way. Rape is a CRIME. What in the world is "best rape"? That's such a big offense to rape victims. Should they be grateful just because they survived? Is FL "lucky" to have her rapist dote on her? I think she'd rather not have been raped. And yes, the rapist being rich has everything to do with it. He wouldn't be ML if he couldn't provide for her. Woo her. If he wasn't rich and powerful, he would be in JAIL for his crime. So while you may think the ML is great, in my eyes, he's a criminal. No matter how well he treats her, it won't make up for the harm he placed on her...out of his own selfishness. He KNEW that she wasn't in her right state of mind and absolutely took advantage of that. Again, y'all are free to read anything you want. You can even be this book's #1 fan if you want. I'm not here to attack you on your preferences, I'm just here to defend my stance on rape.

(As of 13 ch) Anyone watched "Crash Landing on You"? The first couple of episodes. It has the vibes of entitled, rich, "im a queen" Seri who gets into forbidden territory and then gets upset at everyone who's doing their jobs. Entitled superstar FL x soldier ML. Don't ship them. He deserves better lmao. FL throws a giant tantrum and flaunts her status when she's caught and is upset with ML for changing her clothes (not caring that he saved her superstar skin from scars and gave her the needed first aid) 🙄 ML is your typical cold soldier dude but he clearly has a soft spot for FL (who knows why lmao her character isn't lovable at all, so it must be her body). Anyways, they'll probably fall in love but I won't be here for it. FL is trash.

Stop romanticizing rape. Stop making girls fall in love with their rapists. No one gives a damn if the rapist is rich. I lasted a fat 11 chapters and really couldn't read anymore. You're better off reading something else. First, sloppy writing. No intros and we're just thrown in a world of characters and schemes. Second, RAPE. Domineering trash ML. Forces himself on her, embarrasses her in front of others, threatens her if she dares abort/take morning after pill. Really, if it's not consensual *** it's RAPE. FL falls for the whole aphrodisiac scheme and gets caught by the "bf", "friend" and whole family etc. Yada yada. Been there, done that. Read something else people.

Mmm...the issue with this being a romance novel is that I don't ship ML x FL. ML deserves better. FL is an ancient empress aka overbearingly strong, defiant, "my way or the highway" and doesn't listen to anyone. ML is your typical overbearing alpha male CEO, who also doesn't listen to anyone. BUT he's trying really hard to be good to FL, but sucks at expressing words. PROS 1. Talented FL: she's physically strong, talented in traditional medicine 2. Independent: doesn't falter when people tarnish her name and is going to find ways to find truth CONS 1. Empress role play: I *get* that she used to be an empress but it's annoying that she isn't adapted yet. The author even said something like "she got used to the new world in just 1 day" but she keep comparing ML to the old emperor, which is really unfair to him. And she even calls him "emperor" and can't use modern technology. 2. FL doesn't own up to mistakes: there's always an excuse for everything. Blew up the kitchen? "how was I supposed to know wires". Kicked ML off bed? "why was he there in the first place" IDK. It's really annoying, FL doesn't have a sense of responsibility. 3. I JUST DON'T SHIP THEM. Tbh ML just deserves better. FL doesn't care about him yet he's doing all these things behind the scenes to help her out. It's probably the first novel where a strong female lead is a bad thing, for me. She's annoyingly stubborn and doesn't consider the people around her at all. No friends, family, close coworkers etc.

Hmm.. I'm on the fence, 39 ch in. PROS: not the typical transmigration novel, not the typical FL CONS: not exactly a fan of FL ___ Basically FL lands in the body of a third-rate scheming b*tch, and usually in other novels, they miraculously fix their personality and become kind right? LOL nope, not in this one. Her acting skills get better and she's no longer interested in the main actor, but her personality is quite... something. She's loud, outspoken, "my way or the highway", and has almost no sense of shame or embarrassment? Like it's hard to connect with her and love her because she's just so 4D absurd. She's still kind of evil and plots her way into advantages so it's not even like she has a clean slate. *AND she'd never get away with her tactics if it wasn't for the support/sudden appearance of ML or dad who she doesn't appreciate enough and is taking adv of. At this point, I'm not even rooting for her. Yknow in other novels you feel bad for the FL and you're like "poor bb you don't deserve this, LET'S GET REVENGE". But here I'm kinda like "mmm girl, sorry but you kind of deserve lmao." I just want her to be a good human and fix her relationships with people (dad, ML). She purposely sought ML out because his body's weak and she'll be rich if he dies. She's taking shelter/money/babysitting from dad & acts like a tsundere and is fighting with him all the time. The bickering with her dad is somewhat entertaining in the beginning and then as you keep reading you kind of just want them to stop being annoying. Her redeeming qualities? I guess she's a good mom and loves her new son like it's her own. Their relationship is cute. Tldr: It's definitely different but my brain hurts reading it. Reading about this FL and her interactions with others...sighs.

As far as I remember, they seem to be around the same age. And technically no, because he just has a fiancee. But he makes it very clear that she's just a fiancee in name & he'll still have lovers.

I'm 200 chapters in and as far as I recall, no major misunderstandings & if there were, then they're resolved within a couple of chapters. I mean I definitely got heated a couple times and then I flip the page and it's all good. Hmm.. definitely not the "typical chinese novel" level white lotus, but some scumbag characters are there to try to drag ML/FL down. Misery loves company. But our OTP is smart and doesn't go down easily :)

Kinda cute, not cliche, but overall meh (39 ch) Basically: -ML is a cute lil demon and FL is a demon hunter -ML is a white lotus (that we're rooting for) as he chases all of FL's male friends/potential boyfriends away while putting on an "im an innocent baby" act for FL - BIG AGE GAP. ML is currently a baby/child so FL just has maternal feelings. But they'll eventually get together (don't read if you're not ok with that) The fighting scenes and demon quests (aka world background) are kinda lame and finish quickly. It's basically just filler until FL gets rich/ML grows up. I mean it's not bad and it's not as cliche as the reborn/cultivation system novels...but there's nothing interesting enough to keep me reading more. Like we all know FLxML will get together. And they'll fight things. But the fight scenes are lame as of rn. And the side characters are background props to the extreme. Hardly any world building.

Mmm...nothing special about this one imo. OP FL reborn into weak body with a system. She's a super plain character, no depth. Just talented & beats everyone. No backstory, not much world building, not much emphasis on family/friends, just op FL taking down enemies. The system in this novel has character and worships FL, but that's probably the only new thing. ML thinks she's interesting and will probably fall in love. Meh. Been there, done that. Skipping.

So many things wrong urgh. TW:RAPE FL is raped by ML bc of a scheme by FL's friend's dad aka it should have been the friend that was raped. BUT THEN FL thinks it's a dream, friend got lucky and doesn't tell her the truth, and ML falls in love with FL. Sidenote: This friend isn't as obviously evil as in other novels with the schemes. FL likes her a lot. They're still close after the incident. But as a reader I'm like..HOW DO YOU NOT TALK ABOUT THE RAPE?? So she's an enemy in my eyes tbh FL is annoyingly dumb and innocent. Definitely a weak lead. Doesn't seem like she'll get stronger. ML will probably be doing all the power moves behind the scenes. Meh.

This one has some cliches (reborn, annoying family) but is still a rather good read. FL is reborn and realizes how dumb she was. ML is her savior in her past life and actually keeps helping her out in this life. She's trying to get away from her trash family and study acting, not medicine. PROS - FL is smart. She puts on her weak act to just the family, and is pretty smart and independent otherwise. - FL and ML have good personalities, wholesome - it still feels "real". she's not instantly op and scheming, she's still figuring people out. - MLs grandma ships them harder than anyone and it's absolutely adorable - FL definitely handles things well and doesn't have the "lemme let you win now and I'll take revenge later", and definitely doesn't have the "oh no they're mean to me but I'll still be nice to them". CONS -FL is dumb as a brick when it comes to feelings towards ML and it makes my heart sad - her IQ also goes out the window when she's with ML ** BUT I should note that the ship is moving...just slowly and innocently. anyways no major cons, I just want fluffy romance TT I'm looking forward to her opening up to ML and taking down all her enemies though :)

Wow, this is definitely something new. I'm actually surprised at how much I like it. Usually I'm one for fluffy romances, instant love, no ML FL drama...etc. This isn't any of that yet I can't stop getting intrigued. Here's the thing, this novel doesn't go down the typical reborn routes (1. op op FL instant kills all enemies, 2. FL meets ML and they fall in love and he helps her out). No, we asked for new and they GAVE us new. FL tricks ML and they start a sugar daddy/baby relationship, no strings or feelings attached. Novels usually portray mistresses as totally scheming and greedy. But FL is so shameless about her love for money, it's quite refreshing. She sees ML as a walking bank and doesn't dare catch feelings. Self awareness, A+. PLUS FL's here trying to earn money to live her best life and get away from all the trash in her family. Yeah she sleeps with ML for money, but her character is built so well, you can't look down on her bc life isn't immediately easy after being reborn. ML can act like a total tsundere, but after 39 ch he's barely figuring out his feelings. None of the "I fell in love with you at first sight" or "how dare you sleep with me, now you're mine!!" He's a professional sugar daddy I guess? He's actually annoyed at the concept of FL being a shameless mistress, but still dutifully sends her money and gifts. TLDR: Such a refreshing lead, well written dynamic between FL and ML. FL is such a well built character, not like other novels where reborn FLs can instantly take down the world and become actual royalty. No instant romance BUT it's not terribly heartwrenching and angst. I can't read those. NOTE: there's implied rough sex but no rape. no smut scenes either.

Mmm... it's not that good but also not the worst I've read (?) It's the typical start: ML forces FL to marry him, FL was defiant until her family's company was on the verge of bankruptcy. And then you have the usual tsundere male & arrogant "I'll never love you" girl...but then she gets jealous if other girls are around. I don't really know where plot is headed, they'll probably fall in love, but there's nothing interesting for me to keep reading after 39 ch.

I like it! The background is simple because farm life and we get to focus on the 2 leads' budding romance. They both like each other but are trying to be subtle about their rebirths. Interesting (?) non-cliches -Both leads are reborn -FL, ML like each other from the start (not just 1 lead chasing the other) -Takes place in the 70s, farming/rural area -FL has special subspace for storage (usually seen in cultivation novels, but this is slice of life/romance??) Other nice things: - strong FL (takes down sister, mom) - kind FL (not arrogant, not cold, not uncaring about the ppl around her etc) - doting ML (he's always bringing her food) - FL has really good relationship with her dad & takes care of others in the area Hope this gets picked! I love the fluffiness.
