IIRC he would piece together known parts of true magic to get as close as possible to the fake magic spells, then optionally improve that with concepts from true magic.
Asking Lith, Nalrond, and even Morok for guidance had been pointless. They were all born with such skills and couldn't explain to her how they did it more than a sighted person could explain colors to a blind man.

Random thought: what would happen if origin flames were to get in contact with a line of mana coming from/going into a mana geysir? Would they burn as long as they have something to feed on (i.e. forever) or would they just be extinguished by the "pressure"of the geysir?

Maybe the endgame is gonna be Solus becoming the "Supreme Magus", being able to send Lith back in time to earth where he can prevent his brothers death and live happily ever after. But that doesn't really sound appropriate considering the past and current writing/storytelling of this series.

If you meant "the IV spell", it's one of Quyllas personal spells that even surprised Faluel, allowing to absorb potions through the skin directly into the patient.

Nah, IIRC even the healing magic for transferring life force is T4, despite using Darkness and Light together. AFAIK T5 distinguishes itself by adding willpower to the spell.
It generated a hard-light construct shaped like a drill that incorporated the hardest minerals in the ground to combine the speed of a light beam with the destructive power of the earth element.
